Devotion - Acts 5:12

And through the hands of the apostles many signs and wonders were done among the people. And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch.

The Ananias and Sapphira debacle is over. It’s done. God made His point and the Church simply moved on. Did you hear me? It moved on. That is what time does. It moves on. Unlike our minds that sometime spend more time dwelling on the past…time doesn’t allow us to live there…it keeps moving and moving…and so does God. God moves through the hands of his chosen to show Himself mighty in signs and wonders. People are being healed everywhere. It’s epidemic. It’s life changing. Its mind blowing…but most importantly it’s unifying.

The scripture reads, “And they were all with one accord in Solomon’s Porch.” From chapter 1 to chapter 5 the church anthem continues to be unity…one mind…one accord. Unity will always be the battle cry for God’s church. Disunity will cause a church to malfunction just like a car without oil. It won’t work. It eventually dries up and just stops.
