Hands On
8:53 AM
Acts 6:6
They presented these men to the apostles, who prayed and laid their hands on them.
The ministry of the “laying of hands” has been around since the early church. Praise God that it is still alive and well. There is something about laying hands on someone and praying for them. Do I believe that God can touch someone without laying hands on someone? Absolutely! However, when we touch someone, it’s as if we share in their burden…we partake of their passions…and we become one in spirit. We lay hands symbolically to convey a transfer of power, anointing, and blessing…but we also convey love, sympathy, and compassion.
